The Vacuum Trash System is designed to be used in conjunction with the Yacht Trash – Vacuum Bags. Trash is loaded into one of the 100 litre bags and then loaded onto the vacuum machine.

The vacuum machine then removes the air inside the bag, compacting all the waste down to around 70% less than its original size.

The machine then heat seals the trash bag closed. saving space on board and drastically reducing smells and trash juice. 

We recommend removing lids from waste items to ensure the machine can remove as much air as possible.

Please note: Placing organic waste in the bags is advisable for short periods. However, as the waste decomposes the released gasses will cause the bag to partially re-inflate. Good news is the 160 micron thick plastic ensures all the trash juice stays in place.
